Every year, the “Swing of White Nights” festival demonstrates the high level of Russian and foreign jazz performances. The guests of the jubilee music forum will be the stars of European and American jazz music, outstanding St. Petersburg musicians and jazz collectives.

Historical festival devoted to the late Middle Ages, annually brings together hundreds of participants from all regions of Russia and CIS. Program: joust, hiking battles, workshops, crafts fair, music and dancing.

The film festival "Microfest" is held annually in Moscow. According to the idea of the organizers, the project unites already held cinematographers and young Russian directors. To the Petersburg spectators the festival will present its best films created in the last 2 years. In the program there are 11 copyright short films of different genres, among which are dramas, thought films on acute social themes, comedies and even mysticism.

The festival format is an independent cinema of all kinds, which corresponds to the principle of originality of form and content, oriented to the search for new avant-garde approaches in the cinema, acute and urgent topics of concern to society. In the program: short feature and documentary films, animation and film essays.

Artist Alexander Sementsov was born in Kerch, Crimea, just before the Great Patriotic War broke out in 1941. Sementsov witnessed the armed conflict between Georgian and Abkhazian forces in 1992 during a short visit to his motherland. This experience transformed his self-identification as a person and as an artist, having mobilized formerly dormant creative resources.

Vasily Klyukin is a Russian-born designer, writer, sculptor, and businessman. In 2016, Klyukin first presented a series of “live sculptures,” based on his engineering experience. The technique allows to assemble and disassemble the sculptures without a single bolt, screw, etc. It is this very principle that the series In Dante Veritas, on display in the courtyard of the St. Michael’s Castle, relies upon.

Exhibition dedicated to the political, historical and religious collisions related to the so-called "Eastern Question", and participation in the Russian state. At the exhibition the visitors are more than 100 exhibits from the museum. Among them are unique photographs taken by Russian and foreign travelers the second half of XIX - early XX centuries, the gifts of the Oriental Orthodox churches, icons, accompanying soldiers and pilgrims, samples of "billboards": lithographs, engravings, postcards, reflecting different stages of the Russian state and church policy in the East. Also at the exhibition, samples of ecclesiastical vestments and military uniforms XIX - early XX centuries. More than half of the exhibits exhibited for the first time.

“Three Centuries of Classical Romance” is one of the largest cultural events in the field of vocal art. The international project aimed at supporting and promoting young talented performers of classical romance attracts more and more participants from different countries every year, contributing to the expansion of international cultural ties and promoting the image of St. Petersburg as the cultural capital of Russia. The winners of previous competitions successfully perform in the best concert halls of the world.

The festival gives an opportunity to young filmmakers to present their project, as well as take part in the discussion of art issues, research of the contemporary creative environment. Intermission is a laboratory of meanings, feelings, desires, actions, which allows us to isolate from the cycle of events something that is really important for a person and his soul. In the program: film screenings, animation, theatrical performances and performances, lectures, round tables, exhibitions of works of contemporary artists and installations created specifically for the festival.

Carillon concerts in the Peter and Paul Fortress have long been a good tradition. This is a unique opportunity to hear the sound of one of the three carillons that currently exist in Russia. In the program: arrangements of popular classical and folklore music, as well as works specially written for this amazing instrument.

Famous conductors and choral figures, methodologists, composers from Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities of Russia, as well as foreign participants - leading master classes take part in the seminar.
